From Largs Pier, make your way by ferry to Cumbrae and the town of Millport, a favourite destination for generations of holidaymakers. Just a few miles from Largs you can take the ferry from Wemyss Bay to Bute or from Gourock to either Dunoon in the Highlands or Helensburgh. Further down the coast, the Ardrossan to Isleof Arran ferry runs a regular service.
Largs and the Firth of Clyde are home to some of the finest sailing waters in the world. Various companies operate in the Largs area providing pleasure trips, fishing and speedboats. Water sports instruction companies are ready to teach or assist you no matter what your skill level.
Largs and the North Ayrshire area enjoy a multitude of golf courses and golfers are spoiled for choice with easy access to over 20 courses including famous championship courses at Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry.
